Asia-Pacific Water Forum Officially Launched

The Asia-Pacific Water Forum (APWF) was officially launched on Wednesday, September 27th 2006, during a ceremony held at the headquarters of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Manila, Philippines. (Press Release: PDF44KB)

The ceremony was held during a conference hosted by the ADB entitled "Doubling Water Financing and Results: Conference on ADB's Water Financing Programme 2006-2010".

The APWF is grateful to ADB for offering to host its official launching ceremony during this important event, especially since water financing is one of the three Priority Themes of the APWF.
